Yelp.com is AWEsome!

I am a bad bad girl… I have seriously become a connoisseur of “hole-in-the-wall” style restaurants. Yelp.com is fantastic for finding such places. It is also where I found Empanada Express… the highest rated restaurant in Golden where I work. Very tiny family owned joint next to a Dominos pizza in a strip mall. Really? This is the best food in Golden? I was apprehensive about eating Venezuelan food too, (not to mention, I had no clue what Venezuelan food was) but let me tell you.. this place is amazing! I couldn’t resist going there again today for lunch. You can really tell that everything is fresh and homemade. $3.50 for a huge stuffed Empanada!! Oh, this place might be the death of me. I should probably go to the gym now. :)

Also… you can find more than just food on yelp. It’s quite entertaining really. In my boredom today I stumbled across the reviews for the demonic horse sculpture that “guards” (or whatever it’s doing) DIA. HILARIOUS!! There are over 100 comments/reviews about the crazy thing! Look for it under DIA giant blue bronco and read the reviews for some good laughs! Totally made my day!
